Jim Zurales Photography recently completed our family photo shoot and we couldn’t be happier with the results!  Jim went above & beyond, scouting locations in advance, advising us on our wardrobe, and timing our shoot to take best advantage of natural light.  He took a wide variety of creative shots and never seemed to run out of ideas.  His wonderful sense of humor kept us smiling and resulted in natural looking expressions, and the turn around time to receive our finished product was remarkable.  We are thrilled with our portraits, they turned out fabulous, and now we are wondering why we waited so long to do a family shoot.  I guess we didn’t realize that Jim would take what could be perceived as a mundane activity and actually make it FUN!  We had a great time working with Jim and will not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

 After our first attempt  to hire a "professional" photographer failed miserably, we were a bit gun shy when it came to finding someone that we could trust to help us form the memories of our special day.   From my first phone conversation with Jim, I couldn't have been more impressed. Jim is professional, funny and eager to give you exactly what you want. 

Jim is highly organized and communicates his intentions for the day. He cares about concerns and issues that you have and works to ensure that everything goes smoothly.  Jim helped develop and maintain the timetable and helped keep everyone comfortable.  For example, given the length of time of the pre-wedding photo shoot, Jim recommended we provide water and snacks to keep everyone hydrated and happy!  I wouldn't have thought of that, and am very glad that he did!

We were married on August 20, 2010, quite possibly the hottest day of the year!  Jim worked very hard to  keep people engaged and on target  to complete the photos that we outlined as important.  it was a long day and he was, quite honestly, a staple in getting us through it.

Now the important stuff... the photos!!! WOW!!  That is really all I can say.  I couldn't be happier.  Jim did an amazing job, captured what we wanted as memories and provided it all in a timely manner!  His shots are clear, creative and precise all with the elegance that we were looking for.  Long story short, we will never forget Jim.   THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!

Planning a wedding was very challenging for my husband and me.  We both have a "go with the flow" attitude which can be frustrating when it comes to decision-making time.   A very important decision for us was finding the right wedding photographer.  We wanted good quality pictures to remember our special day by which is why we chose Jim.  After taking a look at some of his photos, we knew he would be just perfect for what we were looking for!

Not long after hiring Jim as our photographer, he began planning our special day.  We got together to get to know each other better and to discuss our expectations and wishes.  We then proceeded with our engagement session and then the wedding. 

Jim exceeded every expectation that we had for our wedding photos.  It was not just his QUALITY of work, but his amazing enthusiasm, energy, kindness, professionalism, dedication, fun personality, and hard work that made him truly great!  He and his crew  helped with a lot of the coordinating and timing to make sure our day was just perfect.  It was like having two for the price of one: a wedding photographer and  an assistant.

He truly made our day absolutely perfect and for that we thank him.  Our day would not have turned out as great as it did without him.  We would recommend Jim to anyone and everyone.  If you want good quality pictures for a great price from the hardest working man we have ever come across, then Jim is your man.  He also created Thank You cards for us and they turned out great!
